Work
Designing TurboTax’s first AI-driven standalone add-on
Every year, 600,000+ TurboTax customers abandon right before filing due to lack of confidence and inability to get the help they need, when they need it.
Expert Final Review was built to fill that gap - a $39 standalone add-on giving customers one-time expert contact, right before filing. I designed the end-to-end experience from scratch across 5 shipping cycles and 4 platforms, resulting in a new upsell model that became the foundation for TurboTax's AI-driven offer strategy.

Building a framework for AI-driven ad personalization from scratch
How do you build an offer framework that scales to any context, any offer type, and any placement, without rebuilding from scratch each time? I designed the component architecture and interaction patterns that make that possible, giving future upsells a system to build on and the ability to integrate with our AI offer recommendation engine.

Contributing a new durable illustration to Intuit’s design system
Good design systems are living libraries that scale and grow through small acts of ownership. We urgently needed a new illustration asset for Audit Defense, but our contract with our third-party agency had ended, so I illustrated a new one and contributed it to our shared library.

AirBrush Skin Tone - Advocating for inclusivity in design
AirBrush is the NA and LATAM flagship version of Meitu — one of the world's largest photo editing platforms, with hundreds of millions of users in China. Expanding globally meant serving a much more diverse user base, but the skin tone feature had shipped with free shades that only covered light to medium tones. The gap reflected the aesthetic norms of a product team building primarily for a Chinese market. I identified the issue through user feedback, built the cross-cultural business case, and convinced leadership to prioritize a fix, helping bring the product's global ambitions in line with its global users.
